We are accepting applications for the following positions:

Senior Counselors - Full time

Senior Counselors oversee the daily operation of the group home when the Program Manager is absent.  Responsibilities include: assisting the Program Manager in hiring, evaluation, and supervision of staff; monitoring program goals; ensuring adherence to program procedures; and acting as a liaison between Counselors and the Program Manager.

The qualifications for this position include:  A Bachelor's degree in a human services field, 2 years post-secondary education; an Associate's degree and 6 months experience working with youths in a group setting; or a High School Diploma and 3 years experience working with youth in a group setting.

Counselors - Full time, Part time, and Relief positions
Counselors are  responsible for the welfare of youth in their care.  Responsibilities include implementing behavior management procedures, supervising recreational activities, and actively participating with the Treatment Team.  Additionally, counselors are responsible for providing a clean and attractive home environment that is safe and supportive, and for teaching hygiene practices and good interpersonal relationships to residents.
 
The qualifications for this position include: a Bachelor's degree in a human services field; an Associates degree and 6 months experience working with youths in a group setting; or a High School Diploma and 3 years experience working with youth in a group setting.

Program Director - Full time

HHY is seeking a Social Worker with management experience to join the Independent living program team at non-profit social service agency for abused, neglected and emotionally challenged youth located in Pikesville, Maryland. Candidate must be a results oriented clinician with an interest in program development and administration. Will supervise social workers and monitor clinical service delivery to clients. Individual must be organized, have excellent written and verbal communication skills. LCSW-C and 3 years of supervisory experience is a must. This position is located in Pikesville, Maryland. Clinical Social Worker position located in the Baltimore region provides social work expertise to support children with therapeutic needs. This position works with children from birth through 21years of age who reside in therapeutic foster homes. Individual will provide and coordinate treatment with placing agent and foster families. Ideal candidate must possess strong clinical assessment skills and ability to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with a diverse population. Qualification includes Master's degree in social work, LGSW license or license eligible. We offer individual and group clinical supervision, agency in-services trainings and a collaborative supportive working environment.
