We are accepting applications for the following positions:

Community Relations Coordinator - Fulltime

The position of Community Relations Coordinator, located in Mongtomery County, MD works directly with the President & CEO.  The Coordinator is responsible for resource development, government relationships, administration and management of grants, fundraising campaigns, event planning and production, and developing relationships with community and corporate partners.

The qualifications for this position include experience in publis relations, campaign management, lobbying or product representation, and a Batchelor's degree.

Clinical Case Manager- Damamli: Independent Living- LSWA or LGSW required

The Clinical Case Manager, located in Baltimore County, provides social work expertise to support children with therapeutic needs. This position works with adolescent mothers who reside in foster homes or in their own apartments. He or she will coordinate treatment with the placing agent, foster family, and birth family. Low caseloads of 8-10!

The qualifications include: A bachelor's or master's degree in Social Work, a LSWA or LGSW license, excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.


Clinical Case Manager - Transitional Living Program (TLP), LSWA or LGSW required

This position, located in Bladensburg, MD, provides social work expertise to support the young adults (17 -21 years old) in our Transitional Living Program.  These young people live in our subsidized apartments while they prepare for independent living.
 

Qualifications include:  A bachelor's or master's degree in Social Work, a LSWA or LGSW license, excellent organizational, written and verbal comunication skills.

Program Manager – Full time


The Program Manager manages the daily operation of the group home or shelter.  Responsibilities include interviewing and training counselors, coordinating services for youth with Treatment Team, managing group home in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines, and maintaining appropriate records and forms.

The qualifications for this position include:  a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, or a High School Diploma or equivalent, 3 years of experience in related field and 1 year of supervisory experience

Senior Counselors - Full time

Senior Counselors oversee the daily operation of the group home when the Program Manager is absent.  Responsibilities include: assisting the Program Manager in hiring, evaluation, and supervision of staff; monitoring program goals; ensuring adherence to program procedures; and acting as a liaison between Counselors and the Program Manager.

The qualifications for this position include:  A Bachelor's degree in a human services field, 2 years post-secondary education; an Associate's degree and 6 months experience working with youths in a group setting; or a High School Diploma and 3 years experience working with youth in a group setting.

Counselors - Full time, Part time, and Relief positions

Counselors are  responsible for the welfare of youth in their care.  Responsibilities include implementing behavior management procedures, supervising recreational activities, and actively participating with the Treatment Team.  Additionally, counselors are responsible for providing a clean and attractive home environment that is safe and supportive, and for teaching hygiene practices and good interpersonal relationships to residents.
 
The qualifications for this position include: a Bachelor's degree in a human services field; an Associates degree and 6 months experience working with youths in a group setting; or a High School Diploma and 3 years experience working with youth in a group setting
.
